The Animal Shack is a fun and friendly pet store that opened its doors on the 4^th of March 2006. With over 5000 square feet of floor space it has large puppy and kitten inclosures to cater for its cute and cuddly guests, a lively bird aviary filled with a variety of birds and an aquarium room with over 60 fish tanks housing a huge range of fish and other aquatic creatures. With plenty of space to romp around and lots of weird and wonderful animals to see, The Animal Shack makes for a great family outing.

The store is run by owners Jannene and Bruce Theobald who currently employ more than 10 knowledgeable staff to help customers out with all their pet requirements.

The Animal Shack is a dream realized for Jannene and Bruce which started when Jannene’s home-based dog grooming business started to boom and Bruce’s dairy farming days started to wear thin. The pet shop allows them to have the best of both worlds.  Bruce still gets to work with animals selling top quality pets and supplies, which has also inspired a new passion for fish, reflected in the amazing aquarium room he has built. Jannene’s business, Doggi Style Grooming, also operates within the store and offers the perfect post-purchase service for those customers with puppies.
